How long have you been a member of Parish Players and part of the committee?
I joined Parish Players in 2002, and have previously been on the committee - but quite some time ago!
What first brought you to Parish Players?
Having moved to the Merton Park area, I went to watch a production of Twelfth Night which I thoroughly enjoyed, so promptly auditioned for their next production.
What is your most memorable experience being a part of Parish Players?
I have acted, directed, and also worked backstage, and all were memorable in different ways. My highlights were playing a Kit-Kat girl in Cabaret, Florence in the female version of The Odd Couple, and Countess Cruella in Beauty & the Beast. I loved directing 2025’s May play, 'The Ghost Train’, working with an amazing team to produce a drama with a stunning set, authentic steam train sounds, amazing special effects and beautiful costumes.
If you could describe Parish Players in three words, what would you say?
Inclusive, rewarding and fun
