How long have you been a member of Parish Players and part of the committee?
I was first a ‘littlie’ in Sleeping Beauty in January 1995 and made my full debut as a magical mouse/horse in Cinderella in January 2001. I’ve been a member of the committee at various points during my membership, including acting as the under-18 representative for a time. My current stint is getting on for at least 10 years – time flies when you’re having fun!
What first brought you to Parish Players?
With my Mum, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and eventually Siblings all being members it was pretty much a rite of passage for me to join – you could say it’s in the blood!
What is your most memorable experience being a part of Parish Players?
Gosh! There are so many to choose from! I’d say my top three would be performing as a Kit Kat Girl in Cabaret (May 2004), managing to learn the sheer number of lines in a Hull accent (!) as Shelley in Ladies Day (May 2019) and co-directing Treasure Island (Jan 2020) with my Mum – I loved it!
If you could describe Parish Players in three words, what would you say?
