Max Perryment (everything from a Dwarf in Snow White to Benedict in Much Ado about Nothing) is a busy Sound Designer and Composer.

He has written music for films and feature length documentaries found on Amazon Prime, Apple TV and other platforms such as Vice, and hundreds of TV commercials and brand videos over a 15 year career.

His music and sound for theatre has been heard in London’s West End, The National Theatre, The Old Vic, The Young Vic, The Globe, The Royal Court, Hampstead Theatre, Almeida Theatre and many other regional venues. He has composed music and sound for audio dramas with Audible, BBC Radio and BBC Sounds.

Max is resident composer for the contemporary dance company Made By Katie Green and is a founding member of the physical theatre company Parrot {in the} Tank. He writes original scores for the comedy duo Goodbear (featuring his brother Henry). He has been working with Kestrel Theatre Company which makes theatre with prisoners.

Max's music for The Winter's Tale (RSC, Stratford) in 2025 was highly rated by reviewers. His music can also be heard in the tour of Dear England (National Theatre).

He is in the band Escapists, playing Reading and Leeds Festival and supporting Manic Street Preachers and Imagine Dragons on their U.K. tours.
