Bold Nelson

An evening of words and music to celebrate Lord Nelson’s life, loves and death.

The days between Nelson’s departure from Merton on 13th September 1805 to his death at Trafalgar some six weeks later are traced through the letters he wrote and received, the comments of his contemporaries and the words of songs. Separating fact from fiction and myth from reality, “Bold Nelson” will seek to capture the true voice of Lord Nelson.
